Parade Details

There will be a parade however the traditional parade route, since there is a projected dismantling of the bridge planned, is being reviewed and an alternate is being designed. Bookmark this site and we will post a 2009 Parade Map as soon as we have details.
Parade date: March 15, 2008 (Saturday)
Parade starts at: 10am CST
Parade location: Baton Rouge, LA 70808 USA
Parade route: Begins at the corner of Hundred Oaks and South Acadian Thruway (by Catholic Life Center); takes right on Eugene; takes left on Terrace; takes final left on Perkins Road and continues down over the overpass ending just under the interstate. All floats continue to roll through the intersection at Lee Drive though the parade has ended.
Parade History Note:
The original parade route started at City Park Golf Course and ended just over the Overpass at ZeeZee Gardens. It was a true walking parade the first couple of years.
